My new thriller Hybrids comes out today, and you can get an autographed copy from the Unknowncountry.com store. Hybrids is another in my 'true fiction' series, like Majestic about the Roswell Incident, and the Grays, about what I believe the Grays are really doing here.

Hybrids explores what might happen if human scientists teamed up with aliens to create genetic hybrids that were smarter than we are. I am pretty sure that there has been genetic experimentation along these lines, but I don't have enough proof to write nonfiction about it, so this is my exploration of the possibilities.

Soon enough nob heads will be thinking this is all real and that Whitley was telling the truth, and no doubt Whitley will say "I was telling the truth but could not do it so had to pretend it was all made up."

Meh. I finally read "The Key," which was fricking awful. I've never been a fan of Strieber's fiction (at least the books he was willing to label as fiction), so there are much better things to waste my time on.

If he hadn't zigzagged so far into woo in the 80s, Strieber might have had a pretty good career as a popular author. That first anal probe was his undoing, methinks.

Just thought you might be interested to know hes peddling thriller "fiction truth" these days haha...

i think you are probably right, he may well have done better to avoid making out like everything he said was true back in the eightees and just keep everything he did as a fiction. It certainly would have helped his credibility issues.
