"Good stuff. Mr. Thornhill I have some additions though. All planets were once stars. They are all different stages of matter creation via stars, and eventually destruction, via their new host stars. The giant red spot on Jupiter is a planet's iron core currently being vaporized, which is why it's red and has been around for centuries. How many storms have you seen last for centuries? It's an orbiting moon right inside of it's atmosphere! More later."

I watched perhaps half of the first video, due to a growing, nagging feeling of familiarity. It finally dawned on me that I was listening to yet another version of the "cosmic catastrophe" theories proposed by Immanuel Velikovsky. The real irony of these theories is that they claim that mankind is much too stupid to create mythology from his own fertile imagination, which is actually what the proponents of these theories are doing.
