Here's an article I just posted on the Thrive Debunked blog. It's tangentially related to Thrive, but does involve one of its main sources on the subject of crop circles.

In a nutshell, some paranormal crop circle believers make a fake video involving Dave Chorley, one of the human pranksters (now deceased) who pioneered making circles in England. The claim is that Chorley told the psychic who appears in the video (who is a fake) that he was sorry he told the world crop circles were a hoax. Despite the crudity of the fraud, various crop circle believers are lining up behind the video, including the creators of BLTResearch.com, which is Thrive's main source on those wacky depressions in English grain fields.

As crop circles have proven to be the most controversial subject on the entire TD blog, I expect heavier than usual flak on this one. Mr. Sulu, raise shields!

As predicted, the crop circle believers have fired back.

Check out the comments. These people are all about peace and "make love, not war," and one of the commenters thinks I should have been beaten more often as a child.
